I no longer maintain information about installing GNU/Linux on laptops (though I am and probably always will be a GNU/Linux user).

I am the author of innotop and MySQL Toolkit. Please don't contact me directly with questions about them. Instead use the forums, mailing lists, or bug reporting systems at their sourceforge projects. It's good nettiquette to let others benefit from being able to see how you solved your problems, and it relieves me of the burden of being emailed about the same questions by many people.
